The Beam In Your Own Eye
When you go around calling political opponents elitists (thus showing a) that you don't have a good grasp of the English language or, b) that you Rove-ingly redefine the true meaning of words in pursuit of your political aims), you had better make sure your wife's outfit on the convention stage does not cost more than the average suburban house with a yard and a three car garage, as the priceless commentator Ed Brayton points out at Dispatches from the Culture Wars. (Particularly if you yourself own seven or more homes, and don't even know it.)
