NPR's This American Life took a fascinating and highly instructive look into the financial mess which has risen to the forefront of our American lives of late.
I am an ignoramus about things such as credit default swaps, as I think most of my readers are, but I found the material to be very clearly presented and understandable. Do yourself a favor and listen in.
The show runs for 53 minutes and is a true clinic for the financially-challenged.
NOTE: A few months ago, in May, This American Life did another episode on the housing crisis and the role Wall Street played in it. Follow this link, then click the Full Episode icon to listen to the program.
